The Old Town Hall
On the first floor of the Medieval Guildhall building is the charming room that was once the Town Hall. It measures 61 ft x 21.5 ft, features a rare crown-and-post ceiling, a polished timber floor and leaded windows that overlook the pretty garden on the west side.
Ideally suited to banquets and wedding receptions, particularly those events that call for long tables to be set up, the room will accommodate 110 people, and has a serving kitchen at one end. This is where food, is heated and prepared for serving.
This room is licensed for the for civil marriage ceremonies to take place, providing previous arrangements have been made with the local Registrar.
