Hadleigh Town Hall Complex
Hadleigh Town Hall & Guildhall Complex is one of the finest medieval buildings in East Anglia and the only one available for hire in our beautiful market town that can trace its origins back to the 15th Century.
The Complex is situated off the High Street Hadleigh and adjacent to St. Mary's Church and the Deanery Tower.
It comprises a fine Grade I Listed Building of Medieval origin containing many interesting historical and original architectural
features and a Victorian Grade II Listed building which offers a finely proportioned first floor room: The Grand Hall
on the first floor with convenient dining and bar facilities below. The Management of the Building has been in
the hands of the Hadleigh Market Feoffment Charity since 1438.
In 1989 the Trusteeship of the Charity was transferred to Hadleigh Town Council who, with considerable financial assistance from Babergh District Council, initiated a complete renovation and improvement of facilities in order to bring several rooms back into public use.
Despite its age and its Grade One Star listing, the Complex offers modern high quality bespoke facilities at very affordable prices. Our historic surroundings and central location make us one of the most desirable venues in Suffolk. We have five rooms available for hire, capable of seating 60-250 people, three of which are licensed for wedding ceremonies.
The Grand Hall, The Dining Room (with bar and kitchen area) The Old Town Hall (with serving area) The Guildroom (with tea making facilities) The Council Chamber and The Garden. A lift and ramps permit direct access for the disabled to most areas.
The following rooms are available for hire, and may by arrangement enjoy bar and catering services.
